To God Be The Glory: Lyrics by Frances J. Crosby; Sung by Stuart Townend

To God be the glory, great things He hath done,

So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,

Who yielded His life an atonement for sin,

And opened the life gate that all may go in.

Refrain:

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, let the earth hear His voice!

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, let the people rejoice!

Oh, come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,

And give Him the glory, great things He hath done.

Oh, perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,

To every believer the promise of God;

The vilest offender who truly believes,

That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.

Great things He hath taught us, great things He hath done,

And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;

But purer, and higher, and greater will be

Our wonder, our transport, when Jesus we see.

This is the Day: Tim Timmons

Each day I rise, I'll fix my eyes

On Your promises, over and over

That I am loved, no matter what

And You are enough, over and over

This is the day that You have made

I will rejoice and be glad in it

This is the day that You have made

I will rejoice and be glad in it

I will rejoice and be glad in it

My joy, my rest, do not depend

On my circumstance or how I'm feeling

Seasons, they change, we bend, we break

Molded and remade over and over

This is the day that You have made

I will rejoice and be glad in it

This is the day that You have made

I will rejoice and be glad in it

I will rejoice and be glad in it

I'll sing for joy, joy, joy

In the valley where it grows

I'll sing for joy, joy, joy

In the goodness of my Lord

I'll sing for joy, joy, joy

Cause I'll never walk alone

You are my rest, my confidence

I'll sing for joy, joy, joy

In the valley where it grows

We sing for joy, joy, joy

In the goodness of my Lord

I'll sing for joy, joy, joy

Cause I'll never walk alone

You are my rest, my confidence

This is the day that You have made

I will rejoice and be glad in it

This is the day that You have made

I will rejoice and be glad in it

I will rejoice, I will rejoice

This is the day that You have made

I will rejoice and be glad in it

This is the day that You have made

I will rejoice and be glad in it

I will rejoice and be glad in it

Acts 13:6-12

Afterward they traveled from town to town across the entire island until finally they reached Paphos, where they met a Jewish sorcerer, a false prophet named Bar-Jesus. 7 He had attached himself to the governor, Sergius Paulus, who was an intelligent man. The governor invited Barnabas and Saul to visit him, for he wanted to hear the word of God. 8 But Elymas, the sorcerer (as his name means in Greek), interfered and urged the governor to pay no attention to what Barnabas and Saul said. He was trying to keep the governor from believing.

9 Saul, also known as Paul, was filled with the Holy Spirit, and he looked the sorcerer in the eye. 10 Then he said, “You son of the devil, full of every sort of deceit and fraud, and enemy of all that is good! Will you never stop perverting the true ways of the Lord? 11 Watch now, for the Lord has laid his hand of punishment upon you, and you will be struck blind. You will not see the sunlight for some time.” Instantly mist and darkness came over the man’s eyes, and he began groping around begging for someone to take his hand and lead him.

12 When the governor saw what had happened, he became a believer, for he was astonished at the teaching about the Lord.

Romans 1:16-17

For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes—the Jew first and also the Gentile. 17 This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.”

Exodus 7:10-13

So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did what the Lord had commanded them. Aaron threw down his staff before Pharaoh and his officials, and it became a serpent! 11 Then Pharaoh called in his own wise men and sorcerers, and these Egyptian magicians did the same thing with their magic. 12 They threw down their staffs, which also became serpents! But then Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs. 13 Pharaoh’s heart, however, remained hard. He still refused to listen, just as the Lord had predicted.

Philippians 2:9-11

God elevated him to the place of highest honor

and gave him the name above all other names,

10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,

in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord,

to the glory of God the Father.

1 John 4:4

But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.

Colossians 1:6

This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace.

Galatians 6:9

So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.
