Here are 4 ideas to help you get started:

How long is the service? It’s nice to know how long a service typically runs so people can plan accordingly.
What about kids? Visitors with children like to know what to do when they first walk in—should they head to the kid’s classrooms or bring them into the main service? Also, they want to know what kind of care their child will be receiving.
What’s the service like? Let people know the style of music, whether the service is formal or informal, and other details so they know what to expect. Try to make these details reflect the mission and values of your church.
How do people normally dress? People feel more comfortable in a new place when they don’t feel like they stand out.

Hi, welcome to First Church of God. Here are a few things to expect when dropping in for the first time:

Coffee and snacks are available in the Gathering Place where you'll find people of all ages enjoying one another's company before the 10:30am Worship Service.
We're casual in our approach and believe that you should always come as you are. Our musical style is a blended mix of contemporary and well known hymns. We are a multi-generational church and believe that we better reflect the Body of Christ when we overcome the generation gaps together.
Nursery services are available for ages 0-3 and we typically run Kids 4 Christ, a kids program, partway through the Worship Service for 4 year olds to 6th grade.
Finally, our Worship Service usually concludes around 11:30am.
